The Cafeteria, located near the patient admitting entrance on the first floor, serves employees and visitors, seven days a week. Call for Cafeteria hours or daily menu.
Jazzman's Café
Jazzman's Café offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Daily fare includes fresh baked goods and a deli-style menu of freshly prepared soups, salads and sandwiches. Carry-out is available. Call for Café hours or daily menu.
Coffee and Snacks
Near the Cafeteria entrance is a vending area, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sidebar Juice and Coffee Machines are available on most floors.
Meal Trays
Visitors who wish to eat with a patient may order a meal tray. Please make your request to the patient's Nutrition Care Representative.
Office Services
Faxing, copying or other complimentary office assistance is yours for the asking.

Gift Shop
Select from flowers, books, magazines, newspapers, gifts, toys, personal care items, and other sundries. The Gift Shop is located by the main lobby. Call 276-7458 for store hours.
Valuables
We ask that you leave your valuables with your family. If you are scheduled for surgery, you will be asked to remove all jewelry before entering the operating suite. If you arrive at the hospital with any jewelry, cash or other valuables, we suggest you store them with Security Guest Services. At your request, Security Guest Services will collect and securely store your valuables. They will return them at a time convenient for you.

Public telephones are available on each floor.
Internet Access
For your convenience, the Stamford Hospital Library provides desktop computers with Internet access and data ports for laptop access in the library, located near the first floor Cafeteria, and open to the public from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. If you require individual assistance, please dial 7522 (outside line 276-7522).
Volunteers at Your Service
Call 276-7521. Volunteers are often available to help you with in-hospital errands, friendly conversation, and more, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
Email Greetings
Friends and family can e-mail greetings to a patient at the hospital by visiting www.stamfordhospital.org. Volunteers will print out and deliver your get well messages the next business morning.
Volunteer Clown Troupe
The Health and Humor Associates, a volunteer group of trained clown caregivers, make regular weekly rounds to all patient care units and waiting areas. These "Doctors of Mirth" are also available upon request to visit patients and their families.
Beauty and Grooming
During your hospital stay, you have access to a full-service salon at your bedside, offering hair, nail and skin-care services. Dial 276-7355 for details, pricing, and to schedule an appointment.
