The Surgical Residency Program
The Stamford Hospital Residency Program in General Surgery offers excellent surgical training in a broad range of specialties. Affiliated with the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons' Program in Surgery, Stamford' s program combines the advantages of training in a small academic medical center with access to the resources of a large program.
Residency training focuses on excellence of patient care at all levels. The goal of the program is to develop surgeons of the highest caliber, equally prepared for academic post-residency fellowship or clinical practice.
