Fairfield County Chapter of the LINKS are proud to announce the 3rd annual "Day of Dance" for cardiovascular health and wellness.
Day of Dance helps to raise community awareness and motivate consumers to take action for a healthier heart and that good this is just a dance away. The event will include education on heart disease and prevention, cholesterol and blood pressure screenings, prominent physician speakers, music, dance demonstrations, instruction and much more!
Nearly 500,000 women die each year of cardiovascular disease, making it the leading cause of death for American women. Your attendance will help us raise community awareness that heart disease is preventable and the number one killer of women in this country. Most women are caregivers. As women, we are natural educators and caregivers. Stamford Hospital has joined with Spirit of Women network of hospitals to get the message out that Health is Action. We are passing this word to family and friends through programs and events that we will be hosting throughout the year.
