Stamford Hospital's Center for Surgical Weight Loss brings together the exceptional medical experience of two recognized leaders in obesity surgery.
Dr. Davis has personally performed more than 1,000 bariatric surgeries - one of the most in our region - using gastric banding, roux-en-Y gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, duodenal switch and revisional procedures. His patients' outcomes have been overwhelmingly positive.
Prior to coming to Stamford in the summer of 2010, he served on the surgery faculty of Columbia University as Assistant Clinical Professor and was Director of Bariatric Surgery at Lawrence Hospital of Bronxville, NY and Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. Dr. Davis is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr Davis also served as investigator in The National Institutes of Health, ongoing clinical study: Longitudinal Assessment of Bariatric Surgery (LABS)

She has also received international recognition for her expertise in the management of the bariatric surgery patient.
