Scheduling Information
- X-ray patients who have a doctor's prescription do not need to schedule an appointment in advance. These exams may be done on a "walk-in" basis.
- All other types of outpatient radiology procedures need to be scheduled in advance. Same day add-ons may be available.
- Appointments can be scheduled via the telephone; however a written order is required. The written order can be faxed and/or brought to appointment by patient.

If a written order is not received in advance or on the day of exam, the exam may be delayed and/or canceled.

Required Patient Information for Scheduling an Appointment

- Special Instructions/comments
- Pre-registration takes place 1-2 nights before the patient is scheduled for a procedure.
- Pre-registration gathers all the information needed for the procedure so the patient can report directly to Radiology at the time of the appointment.
- Patients will be phoned between the hours of 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM by a pre-registration representative.
- From 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM patients may phone the pre-registration department directly.
- If pre-registration does not take place in advance, patients must arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment in order to register. Central Registration is located as follows:
