Pulmonary Medicine & Lung Disease
Stamford Hospital's Department of Pulmonary Medicine & Lung Disease provides evaluation and treatment of pulmonary disorders and conditions for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting in the hospital. We offer a comprehensive range of consultative pulmonary care services using the newest lung disease diagnosis and therapy methods. Cough, wheeze, shortness of breath, chest pain, and abnormal chest X-rays are the most common reasons for which people seek pulmonary evaluation.

Eligible patients can often participate in clinical research studies in which our pulmonary doctors are involved.
Pulmonary rehabilitation helps restore function and improve the daily living of patients with pulmonary diseases including: emphysema, chronic bronchitis and other forms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
