The Stamford Hospital Neurology Department provides comprehensive and expert diagnosis and management of the full spectrum of neurologic disorders, including inpatient and outpatient electro-neurodiagnostic testing to assist neurologists in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.
All non-invasive diagnostic tests are performed by highly skilled electro-neurodiagnostic technologists utilizing advanced digital instrumentation, including electroencephalography (EEG), evoked response studies, and long-term video/EEG Seizure Monitoring.
Results are interpreted by our staff of expert neurologists, with specialists in both adult and pediatric neurology. Our new digital system allows us to review and analyze EEG data from a computer workstation, using state-of-the-art seizure detection software.
We offer late afternoon and evening appointments for patients who need to have neurologic testing done after normal business hours, as well as weekend coverage when emergency studies are required.
