As an employer or community organization you are focused on improving the health and wellness of your workforce and community. Stamford Hospital, your regional center for health makes it possible for you to provide cancer screening services on location in your office parking lot.
Fully Accredited
Our program is fully accredited by the Connecticut Department of Public Health, American Collage of Radiology and FDA approved to provide breast health education and screening for women forty years and older. Skilled board-certified mammography technologist perform exams and images are interpreted by board-certified Stamford Hospital radiologists with extensiveexperience dedicated to mammography.
Mobile features a comfortable registration area, two dressing rooms,and a fully digital mammography unit. The vehicle is in the field six days a week,year-round, serving Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
Services Offered:
- Employee schedules an appointment that works best with their schedule
- Bi-Lateral Digital Mammography Screening (CPT Code G0202)
- Employee and their doctor receive a copy of the results
- All employees who need additional imaging or services are provided with individual concierge style navigation with our Breast Center located at the
- Tully Health Center or to a Breast Center of their choice.
- Education and information about breast health
- Offer Breast & Colon cancer high risk Hughes Assessment tool to all patients – no fee
Stamford Hospital provides:
- FDA and MQSA accredited mammography service documents
- Certificate Liability Insurance
- Tools and tips for promoting a mobile wellness screening on site including customized posters and emails.
Responsibility of Corporation
- Internally market the availability of the program to employees to ensure a minimum of 20 employees pre-register prior to the level parking spaces that Mobile Wellness Coach coming on site
- Ensuring access to 5 our coach can park on from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
In addition to providing breast cancer screening and education, The Mobile Wellness Center serves as a point of entry to the healthcare system at large, and provides an opportunity for uninsured a-low income women to be referred and linked to a medical home and a primary care provider.
Women who do not have a primary care provider or insurance are offered referral and a no-cost mammogram if they quality. Women who lack health
insurance have the opportunity to apply for enrollment in the State or private grant fund. Link to state
The Mobile Wellness Center seeks to decrease breast cancer mortality rate among medically underserved women and increase survival rates for those
diagnosed with breast cancer.

How it works:
We conduct a site visit at your promotion plan to recruit 25 participants a day

- 98% of health plans cover an annual screening mammogram with no co-pays or deductibles
