Choice of health insurance plans
Stamford Hospital offers 3 different levels of coverage (Extended Provider Network similar to a HMO, Point of Service Plan, and Preferred Provider Plan). These are comprehensive plans covering office visits, hospital in-patient and out-patient services, emergency and urgent care, preventive care, mental health, 3-tier prescription plan with discounts for mail-in prescriptions, as well as vision coverage. Co-pays, deductibles and maximum coverage apply based on the plan selected.
Dental Plan with orthodontia
Stamford Hospital offers a non-network, "no referral required" dental plan with coverage across the United States. This comprehensive plan covers regular cleanings, x-rays, emergency treatment as well as an array of other treatments, all subject to any applicable deductibles, coinsurance, and benefit maximums.
Defined Contribution Pension Plan with Employer Match
Eligibility is based on hours worked. Stamford Hospital provides both a basic contribution for eligible employees and an additional contribution (match) for those employees who also contribute.
Paid Time Off Program
Generous paid time off program. Eligible employees begin to accrue time off benefits from first day of work.
