Stamford Hospital Wins Seven Communications and Advertising Awards
STAMFORD, CT - June 15, 2010

Stamford Hospital recently received seven communications and advertising awards - including four Gold - from the 2010 Lamplighter Awards competition. Sponsored by the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo), the Lamplighter Awards recognize excellence in a variety of marketing, communications and public relations categories.

This year's winners were selected from a total of 350 entries. All entrants were judged by a panel of recognized professionals from outside the New England region and evaluated on their quality and achievement of desired results.

Stamford Hospital received Gold awards for:

  • Excellence in Writing Pitch Letters/Press Releases - for the pitch letter on the benefits of colonoscopies;
  • Advertising - Print for the "Discover More" campaign;
  • Advertising ­- Television for the "Discover More" campaign; and
  • Website - Design for the re-launch of Stamford Hospital's website.
     

Stamford Hospital's entries that received the Award of Excellence include

  • Excellence in Writing Letters - for the Economic Downturn Update to the Community;
  • Media Relations - for the Mobile Wellness Center launch at Stew Leonard's in Norwalk; and
  • Public Relations Projects - for the Employee Partnership Survey promotion.
