Stamford Hospital Names 2009 Employee Of The Year
| STAMFORD, CT - January 18, 2010 Stamford Hospital named Chad McLaughlin, a systems analyst in the Information Services department, as its 2009 Employee of the Year. He received the honor at Stamford Hospital's "Celebration of Achievement" event at the Greenwich Hyatt.
McLaughlin was one of almost 400 employees honored at the "Celebration of Achievement" event. Employees were recognized for milestone years of service, patient satisfaction recipients, nightingale nursing award winners, physician recognition winners, and the Planetree caregiver of the year and Dr. Melvin Magida Award recipient. In addition, each of the 12 employees of the month was acknowledged as well.
McLaughlin, of Milford, was named the June employee of the month and was selected Employee of the Year among his fellow monthly winners.
"Chad's can-do attitude and willingness to help was instrumental in the successful implementation of the hospital's new automated time recording system," said Greg Jordan, Director of Application Services and Chad's supervisor. "Chad is another fine example of a Stamford Hospital employee whose passion for living our values of teamwork, integrity, compassion, respect and accountability is evident in everything he does," said Darryl McCormick, Senior Vice President, Talent and Culture.
