You and your partner will be able to learn about the process of labor and childbirth, relaxation and breathing techniques to help you through labor positioning and comfort measures, options for pain medication and anesthesia, variations of normal labor and caesarian births, as well as a tour of the Mother-Baby Unit.
It is recommended that you register in your 24th week of pregnancy. Class should be taken 6-8 weeks before your actual due date. Please wear comfortable clothes, bring two pillows and watch that measures seconds. Water and fruit will be served.
Fee: $225 per couple ($50 discount for employees delivering at Stamford Hospital)
